I graduated Phi Theta Kappa with a degree in Biotechnology from OKCCC in 2001. Following that I interned in Dr. J Donald Capra’s lab under Patrick Wilson studying variable regions of antibodies. After the internship, I began work under Dr. Robert Barstead and the C. Elegans Knockout Consortium. My technical expertise in molecular methods led to my current position in the OMRF Genomics Core Laboratory where I am responsible for library preparation for every sample that goes on our sequencers. You could say that I now reign as the King of Library Preps!
