I joined the OMRF in 1997 and have received a BS in Microbiology and a MPH in Biostatistics, both from the University of Oklahoma. My expertise is in applying statistical methods to define the genetics of autoimmune diseases, specifically systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and Sjögren’s Syndrome (SS). As an Assistant Director of the NIH sponsored Lupus Family Registry and Repository (LFRR) and now as Research Project Director, I have helped oversee the overall study-design and direction of multiple large-scale genotyping projects and have direct experience in subject recruiting, sample processing, genotyping, statistical analysis, facilitating material and data exchange between collaborative groups, budget management, and preparation of reports, grants, and manuscripts.
